Stopping Off Place: Endpapers
Today we’re excited to share the first of a series of occasional posts by Michael Dumontier, who runs Stopping Off Place, a blog and then Instagram account. Finding Michael’s blog many years ago was a big deal for us. The way he thinks about books — and presents them online — has influenced our work, particularly the way we make this newsletter. His poetic assemblages of images, snatches of text, and ephemera feel like artworks in their own right. We go back to his posts a lot.
Michael is an artist from Winnipeg who has assembled a terrific book collection, mostly from his trips around town. He’ll be sharing some peeks at his library with us. Today, endpapers.
We couldn’t be happier he’s here.
