they have four new books
Mac and Jon have a new set of board books about the seasons coming out with Tundra Books today (!), the Now I See quartet.
You can still order the books and submit your receipt here until April 7th at 11:59pm ET (tonight!) to join the Now I See Mail Club. Which means you’ll receive four curated packages mailed to you, one for each season (summer 2026, fall 2026, winter 2027, and spring 2027). Please note, the Mail Club is only open to residents of the US and Canada, excluding Quebec, and there are more thrilling terms and conditions at this link.
They’ll be hitting the road through April and May to tour them, with help from a few other bookmakers.
These events are geared especially toward adults (except the Los Angeles event, where they’ll be presenting on the LA Times Book Festival Children’s Stage. That one’s for kids, and it will also have Mac & Shawn Harris presenting The Future Book). It’ll sort of be like Looking at Picture Books, except Jon and Mac will actually be, like, talking to each other (and sometimes some other writers and artists too).

I purchased the first Shapes board books for twins, 1 1/2 years old. They soon put them in their mouthes and the cardboard got wet and started falling apart. We put the books up. I was sad and embarrassed by my gift. Is there a reason the baby books are not baby proof?
